A license to use Copy Shelter Pro on up to 10 devices signed in to one account: Mac, iPhone, iPad, Android, Windows and Linux. The free version has no time limit.
Prices are on the pricing page and in each app store. Plans renew until you cancel. Cancel anytime from your account page for purchases made here, or in your Apple, Google or Microsoft account settings for purchases made in their stores. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
Nothing is deleted. Backups you already have stay where they are, and your newest backup still restores on the free version. Old versions are kept as they were. Browsing them becomes a Pro feature again, and opens up for anybody whose newest backup cannot restore a file.
For purchases made on copyshelter.com, write to [email protected] within 30 days and we will refund you, with no explanation needed. Purchases made in the App Store, Google Play or the Microsoft Store are refunded by that store under its own rules.
Copy Shelter is built to be careful with your data and is tested that way. No software is perfect, so the app encourages more than one copy and lets you check what each one holds.
The repository format is documented and readable by a tool that needs nothing but the backup itself. If this company stops existing, your backups still open.
We cannot recover your passphrase or your recovery key. Neither is ever sent to us. If both are lost, the backup cannot be opened by anybody, including us.
We cannot restore the sealed part of a Mac's startup disk. macOS comes back from Apple, and Copy Shelter puts your files on top of it.
Do not resell the app, and do not share your account with other people. A Pro purchase covers your own devices.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us. Keep more than one copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
